Tina Phillips gave brief talk with questions and answers re skin
cancers. Well attended and informative.
Tricia and James
from Sainsbury’s at Stratton came and spoke briefly to the members and
advised how well the launch days at the branch had been, the figures
quoted for monies collected were overwhelming.
Please
note: the BBQ event on Sunday 15.8.10. the Sainsbury’s
staff were endeavouring to arrange to which we were invited,
unfortunately will not now take place due to staff holidays and other
unforeseen circumstances.
Monday 16th
(activities meeting 2 – 4 pm) Body Shop representative to demonstrate
skin and other products for members to try.

7.30-9.30 pm Men’s Section meeting Swindon History Talk.
Tuesday 14th
September. Our 5th birthday trip to The London Eye with
lunch and a river trip to follow This is being provided by Staff from
Zurich under the annual Zurich Challenge. Leave 9.15 from
Lawn Community Centre, returning around 6.30pm.
Thursday 16th
7.30 - 9.30pm Inaugural meeting of the Ladies Section.
Any ladies welcome especially those who are unable to attend daytime
meetings due to work or other commitments. If sufficient ladies
attend these meetings they will be a regular event (as requested by the
former Breast Cancer Support Ladies and others who have returned to
work).

yourself.
